What’s up guys? So hiring, still talking about hiring. Going with your gut is probably one of the biggest things you should do as it pertains to hiring someone
. Because of cultural difference, a person’s cultural energy has to be able to match your style or personality.
So you may or may not know that I’m quite energetic, I’m also quite proactive and I expect people to be reactive to me being proactive. Additionally, I live on WhatsApp and some people have come to me and said: “oh, we should do it on slack or we should use Trello, we should use this program.”

I’m like “nope!” we’re using WhatsApp mother F-
because I want to send you voice notes, I want to know when you’ve seen the messages, I want relatively instant updates. So think about the cultural significance of the person that you’re trying to bring on board.
This is important because if that isn’t there, it doesn’t matter how good their resume is, I absolutely hate
it when I go more than two days without contact because I want to know what’s going on, I want to understand what’s happening on the ground.
So go with your gut, that’s one of the first parts of hiring because they can have the best resume in the world and I’ve hired some really great people but the cultural values have not been there and it’s just been shitty. So go with your gut! Later.
