Guys, I wouldn’t talk about the power of the 10x rule when hiring unless it’s true
. To get that one amazing candidate you’re going to not just try and interview ten people, NO
, you’re gonna probably have to hire five, six, who’ll ultimately end up being clowns to get that one amazing person.
This is true whether it’s an employee, whether it’s a contractor, whether it’s a freelancer and the reason for this is people are going to say that they can do what they say they can do versus three months into a contract after the honeymoon period is over and you can get perhaps a bit complacent and not really put the work in.
You have to really think about 10x in everything that you do to really get the actual robustness with your team that you need internally. So expect that the first few virtual assistants, the first few interns or the first couple of employees are not going to work out because you need to go through the shaft to get to the actual wheat, the meat and potatoes. 

So 10x everything that you do in hiring
