What’s up guys? So let me ask you, do you have reviews online? Google Pearl Lemon, Google Pearl Lemon marketing agency, Google Pearl Lemon London, whatever you prefer, you’ll notice that we’re pretty much the only agency out there that has 40 maybe 45 plus reviews.

I need to check again but that didn’t happen by accident. You should definitely, absolutely reach out to anyone that you’ve given consulting to. This is your competitive advantage when you’re in your first year and you’re a small business, you’re also talking to other tiny businesses “bedroom entrepreneurs.” One-person, five-person, ten-person businesses and you can ask those people, very personally “hey dude could you leave me a review?”

Show them how to leave that review, help them with if they need it. They may say “ I don’t know what to write” so write something for them, get them to sign it off and ask them to then post it and be like “do you believe that to be true, fair and accurate?”

You have a huge competitive advantage  while I’m being small to capture those Google reviews because I’ll tell you, most of the competitors have not got as many reviews as you could well have. So let’s get it!

Listing on all the platforms your competitors do

How are you doing guys? So, one of the important things, perhaps I may have mentioned it before, is Google a list of your top five competitors in your space. Have a look at all of the websites that they have their actual profiles on then go out and copy them.

Get listed on every profile that your competitor is already listed on because that will allow you to kind of do some of the legwork involved in getting your agency up and running, making it look the way it should look online.

So when people contact you, you’re already looking a little bit like “The Bombs!” Not enough of us do it. We should absolutely act in isolation when it comes to the way that we operate and speed at which we operate but there are some good things that can be learned from your competitors.

So that’s literally what I’m going to be doing right now is going to get two or three of my competitors, I’m going to look at all of the websites that they are listed on, I’m gonna tell Rebecca and my assistant to go ahead and create profiles of all of those platforms to see what it does to help our SEO. Let’s get it!

Do You Have A Multi-Format Case Study?

Guys do you have case studies? Do you have an example, a detailed example of massive success that your client has experienced as a consequence of your work? Do you have it in a video format? Do you have it in a PDF format? Do you have it on your website, do you have testimonials?

You need proof that you can do the things that you say that you can do. Not everyone will need that proof. A lot of people just skip through it if they’re sold on, you if they’re sold on what they see online but it’s better to have it than to not have it.

You need your cornerstone or your marquee clients that you can present to the wall and say “look, I F-ing crushed it with these clients” so document that, deliver that, have it in multiple formats, have it by audio, video, PDF, on your website and then you’ve got something basically for everybody to help you sell.

Implementing Growth Hacks

let’s get a bit practical, let’s get a little bit ninja‍. So guys, I use screencast-o-matic to record these videos. I’m using a MacBook Pro and the webcam on a MacBook Pro, nothing fancy, Screencast-o-matic, the pro version, cost like fifteen dollars I think a year maybe or twenty dollars a year.

Super cool software, please do use it for videos. When I’m sending it to clients I use loom because it instantly uploads and it comes up as something that you can play within Gmail itself. Once I have some of my videos done, depending upon what happens and they go off to youtube.

I’ll have a lady that works on the SEO watches our videos and then optimizes them for uploads. I’ll put those videos out on a schedule and I’ll also put these videos live. Those are the tips for today, so let’s get it!

Do The Things You Say You Are Going To Do!

What up guys? You should always do the things that you’re saying you’re going to do. Sticking to something that you say is critically important, to be honest with yourself. So if you’ve not yet, for example, listed the advert on gumtree, if you’ve not yet sent out your first cold email via mail shake, Len list, just directly from your email account, from focus, from sales handy.

If you’ve not yet heard of any of those email providers that I’ve spoken of, you’ve not yet looked them up, then you’re not doing the things that you said that you would do or the reasons for which you’re being involved in this group.

So don’t be a lurker, be an action taker, commit to the process, commit to execution and go out and make sure that you get things done. Just like this video something could be better, something can be different. I could be doing X Y Z or more but their point is that you need to make sure that you do the things you say you’re going to do. So let’s get it!
